Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn was born in the US. She is most famous for her role as Skyler on AMC's Breaking Bad drama, and was awarded the Primetime Emmy Award Outstanding Supporting Female Actress for Drama Series 2013 and 2014. She was Jean Ward and Martha Bullock and Martha Bullock, respectively, on The Practice. Anna Gunn grew up in Sante Fe New Mexico and discovered her love for acting while attending Preparatory School. In the late 70's, her family relocated to Ohio. She was a student at Northwestern University to study theatre and also spent time at the British American Drama Academy. Anna started her acting career with Chicago-area theaters for a couple of years. After that, she switched to film and television. Anna was selected to portray Arden in the TV show Down the Shore in the 29-episode show Down the Shore. Anna continued to be in film and TV series such as Seinfeld, NYPD Blue and other shows until the end of 1990's. Then she was selected for The Practice as Jean Ward. She starred as Martha Bullock in Deadwood for two seasons during the 2000s. In 2008 she was cast as Skyler in Breaking Bad. Sully was the Deadwood film and other films also featured her. Gunn appeared in David Schwimmer's Sex With Strangers, a production produced by David Schwimmer. In 2022, Gunn starred in a four-part podcast of audio plays called"Numbered Days.. Breaking Bad often revolves around Walter White and Skyler's relationship. Its strain and ultimate end reflect the final years that were the life of Walter White.
